Overview

The latest clinical, theoretical, and research findings on addictive behaviors will be presented. At its conclusion, participants will be able to describe and categorize major issues in addiction treatment and the recovery process, as well as delineate recent advances in evidence-based treatment. This course is designed to focus on effectively disseminating new treatment methods and addiction findings and providing learners the tools to put them into practice, thus closing the gap between knowledge and practice. Educational formats will include didactic lectures, panel discussions, case presentations, and Q & A.
