Trauma & Critical Care Symposium

Sunday, November 13, 2016 –
Tuesday, November 15, 2016

Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel
Boston, Massachusetts

The care of injured and critically ill patients is complex and challenging. The Harvard Trauma & Critical Care Symposium aims to give clear guidelines to practicing clinicians who manage such patients. This symposium offers an ideal mix of the traditional standard-of-care principles with new, cutting edge information. It explores issues in several areas including resuscitation, surgical techniques, bleeding control, inflammation and infection, respiratory care, nutrition, prehospital care, rehabilitation, and ethics. Multiple learning modalities will be incorporated into the course to engage the learner in the educational process and help them develop new strategies they can apply in their own practice setting.
